Sheroes Raises Rs 12 Crores from Lumis Partners in Series-A funding

Lumis Partners has invested Rs. 02 Crores in, a jobs and career platform for women, in a Series- A Funding. In this funding round, The HR Fund, Quintillion Media, led by Raghav Bahl, and angel investor Rajul Garg have also participated. In a statement, Managing Partner at Lumis Partners, Sandeep Sinha said –

“Sheroes has demonstrated great results in a very short period of time and we are looking forward to accelerating the same. The size of the opportunity, as well as the impact it can generate, is really exciting,”

The investment in Sheroes is the 5th investment of The HR Fund. In 2015, Quintillion Media along with 500 Startups and a group of individuals including Vijay Shekhar Sharma, Binny Bansal, Rajan Anandan, Mekin Maheshwari, Indus Khaitan, Girish Mathrubhootham, and Krishna Mehra have invested in an angel round of funding in Sheroes.

In the current era, gender diversity is the most critical issue for the Indian Media and Sheroes has taken a bold step towards it.

Founded in 2014, Sheroes, one of a kind firm that has open-up different career options for women. To expand its business, it is planning to increase its reach from 12,000 to 30,000 companies in the coming 18 months. Different communities of the firm are working actively across the metro cities and Tier-II cities including Indore, Jaipur, and Pune.
